Northern Territory

A young Muscovite Artem goes to Tyumen to get money for wedding, but unexpectedly agrees to his grandmother proposal to start on a trip to the oil and gas cities of Western Siberia in search of her longtime acquaintance. The road full of encounters with explorers, oilmen, geologists and indigenous peoples turns into his personal discovery: about the family past, about the power of human labor and about his own destiny. The further he penetrates the northern lands, the more realizes that the real path is not in search of other people wealth, but in recognition of own values.
